Adam is the head coach at THCG. Adam received his Blue Belt from Machado Black Belt Matt Thornton and his Purple Belt from Chris Haueter in 2001, at which time he started devoting his emphasis on MMA and No Gi submission grappling. Adam received his Brown Belt from Chris Haueter at the end of 2005 and recently received his Black belt from Roberto Traven (April 09'). Adam has trained with some of the best MMA fighters, boxing and Muay Thai trainers and submission grapplers/coaches/intructors in the world including: Matt Thornton, Rodney King, Robert Follis, Randy Couture, Jason Miller, Charles McCarthy, Eddie Bravo, Matt Hume, The Machados, Caesar Gracie, Paul Vunak, Dan Inosanto, Eric Paulson, Marc Denny, Jeff Monson, Ricardo Liborio, Chris Haueter and Roberto Traven.

In addition to being co-owner of THCG, Rory is also the assistant head coach. Rory received his Purple Belt from Machado Black Belt Matt Thornton. Rory received his Brown Belt from Chris Haueter in April 2006 and recently his Black belt from Roberto Traven (April 09'). In addition to his duties as instructor and coach, Rory is also a member of THCG fight team. Rory participated in Season 3 of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF 3) on Spike TV. Rory made it the semi-finals, losing to Ed Herman in the second round. Rory then went on to compete against Ross Pointon on the finale of TUF 3, beating him in 44 secs by triangle choke. Rory went 2-2 while competing in the UFC. He is currently under contract with the MFC. Rory has also competed in such events as Pride Best, King of the Cage, AFC, Fight Party, and NAGA.
